About Me

I am Cheryl Sears MVB, MRCVS, VetMFHom.

I qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 1983 from University College Dublin and I have been in full time Veterinary Practice in the UK ever since.

During the 1990’s I underwent extensive training in Homeopathy over a 6 year period, culminating in my successful Membership examination and entry into the Faculty of Homeopathy 1998 (the VetMFHom qualification – the Veterinary Membership of the Faculty of Homeopathy. Currently I am the Veterinary Representative on the Members Committee of the Faculty of Homeopathy.

I undertook training in Acupuncture in 1999 and now offer laser Acupuncture as well as traditional needle Acupuncture.

Whilst 80% of my practice is Holistic Referrals, I still practice in a conventional Veterinary Hospital in Southampton on a regular basis.
